Connecting boutique wine sellers and cooperatives with family-owned wineries and distilleries from around the world

OverView

Massanois is a New York City based national importer and distributor of fine wine and craft spirits. They curate and represent a portfolio of quality-driven, family-owned wineries and distilleries from around the world, operating across the US through a network of independent quality distributors. With owned distribution operations in eight major markets including New York, California, Illinois, and Washington DC, Massanois connects exceptional producers with leading restaurants, retailers, and distributors across the country, telling the unique story of each producer one bottle at a time.

Solution

We repositioned the website experience around brands rather than individual wines, creating an intuitive system that serves both trade professionals and wine enthusiasts. The new site features robust search and filtering capabilities, brand-focused storytelling with regional context, and streamlined access to technical specifications and sell sheets. A CSV-based product management system enables the small team to bridge the website with their internal portfolio database. The design balances visual sophistication with functional clarity, setting Massanois apart in a competitive import landscape.
